Die Konstruktion basierte auf einer neuen, von Perry Rhodan selbst mitentwickelten Wabenstruktur. Die CREST IV war ein Kugelraumer mit 2500 m Durchmesser und damit ein Ultraschlachtschiff der GALAXIS-Klasse.
